Busselton is one of our favourite towns in the southwest!
What to do in Busselton:
Train along Busselton Jetty
See the Underwater Observatory at the end
Go diving or snorkelling to see the 13 new sculptures under the water
Have a brew and meal at Shelter Brewing
The iconic Busselton Jetty is an epic snorkelling spot. But there is also great beaches, and really good vibes in general.
Busselton is an easy base if you’re exploring the Margaret River region and want to stay in one place during your visit. It is a bit of a drive but its quite a big and well priced town to base yourself in for at least a couple nights.
It is fantastic for families as the bay is very calm without many waves coming through.
Good to know:
Gets busy during school holidays, so book ahead for campsites, hotels, etc
Skate park, playground etc available by the beach
Dog-friendly spots nearby, but not all beaches allow them
Only 2.5 hours from Perth, very popular for weekenders
Great place to stock up before heading down to Margaret River or inland
