This is one of the best snorkelling spots in Cape Range NP.

We've snorkelled there a few times and the coral is super close to shore, with heaps of fish and other sea life!

Check the tides before you get here, it is HIGH TIDE only for snorkelling.

Just make sure to time it right or you won’t be able to go in. There’s signage on Oyster Stacks and Milyering Visitor Centre to let you know if you can snorkel here, and when.

If you're keen on a snorkelling tour, we went with these guys and they were excellent! 100% recommend them.

Know before going:

  • Entry via Cape Range NP (fees apply)

  • Entry is rocky, wear reef shoes to get in and out

  • Not patrolled, be cautious of swell and currents
