This one is right off Caves Road and self-guided, so it’s one of the easiest caves to stop at if you're doing a loop through the region!

There are fossils embedded in the rock walls and a mix of stairs and boardwalks winding through the chambers.

It's the cave with the most number of steps in the area (over 500), so bring comfy shoes!

Why it’s worth checking out:

  • Self-guided, so no need to book or wait for a tour.

  • Fossils visible along the cave walls.

  • Good stop to combine with other nearby caves like Lake Cave or Jewel Cave.

Know before going:

  • You can buy the entry ticket and an audio guide online here.

  • Mix of boardwalks and stairs (not suitable for wheelchairs).

  • Short walk from the car park to the cave entrance

  • Can be a bit drippy and cold inside, so bring a jumper or light jacket if you're chilly
