This is one of the easier-access gorges along the Gibb. It's absolutely massive and awe-inspiring, but no swimming allowed, it’s packed with freshwater crocs.

They're not considered dangerous, but there are so many of them that you might accidentally stand on one if you swim.

The gorge is part of an ancient reef system, so the rock formations are millions of years old and full of fossils if you look close!

Know before going:

  • WA Parks entry fee applies

  • Basic campground nearby with toilets and showers

  • Bring fly nets, they can be relentless
