You can’t visit Perth and skip Kings Park.

It’s one of the biggest city parks in the world, and us locals go there a lot. The views alone are incredible, but there's plenty to do there.

There are several walking trails, gardens with native plants, restaurants, bars, a gym and art installations... you can easily spend a full day!

Know before going:

  • Lots of walking trails, the Lotterywest Federation Walkway is our favourite as you'll walk among the treetops!

  • There are heaps of tours available, check them here

  • One of the best spots to see wildflowers in WA (spring)

  • There's a carpark, but you can get there for free by bus via the CAT buses

  • Grab a coffee or snack at Zamia Café or the café near the State War Memorial

  • Wheelchair and pram-friendly paths near the main areas

  • Gets busy on weekends, especially when the weather’s good
