Massive waterfall in Dales Gorge

Waterfall

This is one of the few year-round waterfalls in Karijini, so it will be there regardless of when you visit. It's massive (~20 metres) and the best reward after hiking down into the gorge!

It's a short walk from the car park to the gorge, via some well-maintained (but steep) steps.

Why it's worth checking out:

  • Swim in the natural pool at the base of the falls

  • Explore nearby Fern Pool (another great swim spot)

Know before going:

  • Go early or late arvo, gets hot and busy in the middle of the day

  • 2WD accessible, but some roads are corrugated so drive slowly

  • Toilets and info signs at the top car park

  • Water is cold year-round, even in summer

  • Entry fee to Karijini National Park
