This is one of two places in the world with stromatolites, the oldest living lifeforms on Earth! It's a very interesting stop if you're into biology or geology.

There's a boardwalk so you can see them up close, with signage explaining everything. It's a short but cool visit, unique to the Shark Bay area

Know before going:

  • Free to access, quick stop (around 30 mins is enough)

  • Limited facilities, basic toilets only

  • Hot and exposed, wear sunscreen and bring water
