Wooramel is a low-key cattle station with warm artesian pools (which pull geothermal water!), campfire vibes, and heaps of space to spread out.

It’s halfway between Carnarvon and Denham, and makes for a pretty sweet overnight stop when road tripping from Perth to Exmouth

Know before going:

• 2WD accessible, right off the highway

• Unpowered sites, but plenty of flat spots to set up

• Showers, toilets, basic camp kitchen on site

• Seasonal opening, usually April to October
