This is one of the most dramatic caves in the region with the famous 'Suspended Table' formation reflected in a permanent lake at the bottom.

You can only visit with a tour, which you can book here. There are ~320 stairs (for comparison, Mammoth Cave has ~540 and Jewel Cave has ~250).

Why it's worth checking out:

  • Unique cave with a calm lake that creates beautiful reflections

  • It's on Caves Road so you can check out other caves iconic caves in the same drive

Know before going:

  • Tours run every hour, book ahead in busy season

  • Stairs are steep but safe, just pace yourself on the way back up

  • Good rainy day option since it’s all underground
