One of our favourite spots on the Gibb River Road. The waterfall is stunning and the pool is cold but so refreshing! There’s also a sneaky warm spring bubbling in on one side if you feel like defrosting.

It's an easy hike to get there (30-min each way) with a bit of rock scrambling at the end to keep things interesting.

Know before going:

• Entry fee required for El Questro Wilderness Park

• Wear proper shoes to get there, it's rocky and uneven in spots

• Best done early morning to avoid the heat

• No phone reception once you’re in the gorge
