On the right day, this beach has some of the bluest water! Many call it one of the best beaches in Australia, however every time we have visited it's been too windy to see it in it's prime.

It is tucked into a granite headland, so it can be more sheltered and popular for fishing, plus great for families with BBQ's etc.

Things to do there:

  • Swim in (usually) calm, turquoise water

  • Fishing

  • Take the short scenic walk to Little Hellfire Bay (moderate, 1.8km, ~30min, trail here)

  • Spot dolphins if you’re lucky

Know before going:

  • Inside Cape Le Grand National Park (entry fees apply)

  • About 45 mins from Esperance

  • Toilets and BBQ area available great for families
