The best time to go is when the swell is high, as water will spray up. When walking from the car park, you'll know you're getting closer from the sound alone!

Things to do there:

  • Feel (and hear) the blowholes in action when the swell is right

  • Spot whales in season (June to October)

Good to know:

  • The trail from the carpark is short and easy (about 1.6km return)

  • Located in Torndirrup National Park, $17 entry per car per day

  • The granite gets slippery, wear good shoes

  • Strong winds and open cliffs, keep kids close

  • No toilets or facilities
