In 2013 an old run down water tank was turned into a fun piece of art, Uppspretta. The colorful and whimsical water tower is located in Reykjanesbær and tells the playful tale of Uppspretta, a curious puffin who embarked on a journey to find a wife in Norway but ended up in the Netherlands instead. The artwork, created by a collective of artists called The Toyists, captures Uppspretta's adventures in vibrant detail. It's a fun and eye-catching piece of street art that's definitely worth a visit for those interested in this kind of art.
