Svarta Kaffið ("The Black Coffee") is a friendly little spot in Reykjavik known for its unique vibe and delicious coffee. With its dark, moody decor and friendly staff, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. My favourite dish is the soup in bread!

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: An old café in down town Reykjavík.

  • Best season / time of day: Please check Google Maps and/or their website.

  • Fun fact: When I went there the first time, I thought they invented soup in a bread and were the only restaurant in the world that did that - apparently I was wrong.
