Hellulaug Hot Spring is a hidden gem tucked away in the Westfjords of Iceland. This small geothermal pool offers a secluded and relaxing experience out in nature. The pool is naturally heated and open year-round, with no entry fee but donations are encouraged for maintenance. It's right next to the ocean so feel free to cool down when you're starting to feel drowsy!

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: A small geothermal hot spring in the Westfjords.

  • Best season: Any.

  • Best time of day: Any.

  • Nice to know: It's free but there are no changing rooms or showers, making it a very authentic natural bathing experience!
