Built right into the cliffs of Miraflores, Larcomar is one of Lima’s most iconic malls, and honestly one of the most scenic shopping centers in the world. It has all the big brands you’d expect, a movie theater, and an open-air design that keeps the Pacific Ocean in view almost everywhere you go. It’s a popular hangout for both locals and visitors, whether you’re shopping, grabbing a meal, or just soaking in the views.
For our time in Lima, the Larcomar was more than just a mall. It was a fun break from sightseeing! We loved that we could catch a blockbuster movie (Mission Impossible) for a fraction of the ticket price back home. And the dining scene is surprisingly good. Tanta serves excellent Peruvian dishes, while KO Asian Kitchen offers delicious Asian fusion (both are pinned on the guide map). Plus, if you forgot hiking gear, you’ll find shops like Columbia and Patagonia right here.
Pro Tip: Even if you don’t need to shop, come for the sunset views from the terraces. It’s one of the best spots along the Malecón to watch the sky light up over the Pacific.
