In our eyes, Birkelund is a true little holiday heaven. There are no swings or trampolines, but instead, there’s complete calm, nature all around, and space to just be with the occasional deer, pheasant, hare, or even a few cows wandering by. Nestled in the forest and close to some of Bornholm’s best attractions, it is for us a dream destination. We’ve stayed here several times, both in autumn and early spring, and the children have loved running freely across the big grassy lawn, often ending the day with cosy campfire bread-making by the firepit.
