Hesnæs-Korselitse Østerskov Hike. This is such a beautiful forest area, where even the drive here takes you along winding roads past uniquely charming houses with thatched walls and roofs. Already on the way, it’s easy to see why some call this area the heart of Falster.
Whether you choose the 5 km (yellow) or 8 km (red) route, both form a loop, but we were so captivated by the views along the water that we walked along the shoreline both ways. The trails are well-marked and take you along narrow, winding paths through the forest and along the coast, offering absolutely stunning views over the Baltic Sea.
We started our walk from Hesnæs Harbor, which has free parking - click here for direct coordinates to the parking area.
Note: Be mindful of safety, as there is a risk of falling near the cliffs.
