📍Ōmanawanui Track , what a treat you were!!

Located in the Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland, this hike needs to go on your list asap!! Choose to walk just an hour for epic views, or the whole day. (fyi: lots of stairs!)

With multiple stunning hikes in the area commencing from the same carpark, you could spend days here!

Hint 1: Allow time to do the 1hr return (flat) Whatipu Caves walk (www.instagram.com/reel/C9L3qjkyZDt).

Hint 2: If you have 2 cars, you could do the full Ōmanawanui Track. (we're going to do this next time and park a car on each end).

Hint 3: Karamatura Waterfall track is on the way, this is also a must do walk/fall!!

Note: We highly recommend doing this walk on a week day as it's now very busy on sunny weekends and the narrow gravel road can take a longgggg time to get through with all the cars.
