Great view of Rangitoto, Browns island, and looking back toward the city! Nice for Sunrise 👍

Just a short walk up the hill from St. Heliers, or drive

Achilles Point, located in Auckland, New Zealand, is a rocky headland at the eastern end of Ladies Bay. Named after the ship HMNZS Achilles, it offers stunning views and a bit of history with its volcanic crater and tuff ring formations. The area includes secluded beaches like Ladies Bay and Gentleman's Bay, where nudists and the gay community often hang out (but watch out for fines!). You can also explore the geology of the region, from Parnell Grit to Miocene sediments, and enjoy a scenic walk along the shoreline. Overall, Achilles Point is a cool spot to chill, soak up some sun, and take in the natural beauty of the area.
