Mauka Waterfall is located in the new 'Secret Waterfall Garden NZ' which (re)opened September 2024 (Previous name was 'Wrights Water Gardens)

Secret Waterfall Garden NZ is a unique water garden located just 45 minutes south of Auckland city. With ponds, gardens, and pathways surrounding the historic Mauku Waterfall and rock quarry, it's a beautiful spot to visit. They have an on-site cafe and are also a wedding venue! The reviews of the new owners/venue are amazing and we are confident that you will really enjoy visiting. There is a small charge to visit the gardens and it's best to check in before hand (the place might be booked out for a wedding for example)
