If you visit Ise, you will notice Akafuku wherever you go. It's perhaps the most popular souvenir in Mie Prefecture.

Anyways, I used to live around this area and this place was my go to sit down place to enjoy Akafuku with Hojicha (tea).

About:

Akafuku Naikū-mae branch in Ise, Japan is a popular spot for traditional red bean desserts paired with sticky rice cakes. Visitors can enjoy seasonal sweets at the outdoor seating area and recharge after exploring the shrine. The red bean rice cake may be a bit too sweet for some, but the winter limited sweet soup is a hit with many.
