I used to come here for dinner almost every week when I lived nearby, and every time I walk down this street, it brings back so many memories. This is Geku-Sando Street in Ise, Japan—a lively road that stretches from Iseshi Station to Geku (Ise’s Outer Shrine).

This street is an absolute gem for food lovers. You’ll find everything from delicious street food stalls serving up local specialties to cozy traditional cafés perfect for a quiet afternoon. And if you’re a fan of good meat, there are some fantastic restaurants here with top-quality cuts.

But food isn’t the only reason to stop by. The street is lined with charming souvenir shops, offering beautiful handmade crafts, traditional snacks, and gifts that reflect Ise’s deep history and culture.
