About the Host
In 2015, at the age of 27, I embarked on a solo journey around the world, visiting 27 countries over 350 days, with the theme of "Researching Guesthouses Around the World." Inspired by this dream, I wanted to create a guesthouse where travelers with dreams can gather, just as I did during my own journey. That vision is reflected in the name of our guesthouse.

As I was born and raised in Yamanakako Village, the name also carries the meaning of "villager." The guesthouse’s theme color is "rainbow," symbolizing our hope that people from all walks of life, regardless of nationality, gender, or age, feel welcome here. The circular shape of the logo represents the world and our desire to welcome travelers from across the globe.

Our mascot, a frog, was chosen for its connection to the Japanese phrase "kaeru," which means both "return safely" and "come back again." We want our guesthouse to be a place that people want to visit repeatedly, a space that feels like coming home.
