Hello Mallory

Colorado State Highway 145, stretching for about 116 miles from Cortez to near Naturita, winds through charming towns like Dolores, Rico, and Placerville. It offers access to scenic spots like Telluride and Trout Lake. In a quirky twist, a boulder named Memorial Rock fell onto the highway in 2019, leading to a realignment of the road. This highway is a mix of mountain views, small-town vibes, and unexpected landmarks along the way. The best stretch for a fall drive is between Dolores and Telluride.
