Seal Rocks is a group of small rock formation islands located just offshore in the Pacific Ocean, near the Cliff House and Sutro Baths ruins in San Francisco. The name comes from the population of Steller's sea lions and California sea lions that hang out on the rocks. These cute creatures are often referred to as "seals." The formations and wildlife at Seal Rocks are protected within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
