Calla Lily Valley in Big Sur is a hidden gem off Highway 1 where thousands of wild white calla lilies bloom from late January to mid-April. The short coastal walk to the valley offers stunning views, but watch out for muddy and rocky terrain, poison ivy, and poison oak. Remember to stay on the trail, respect the delicate flowers, and never pick or touch them. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and be prepared for a magical experience surrounded by nature's beauty.

Pet-friendly: Yes, but please keep them leashed and on-trail

Soft adventure: Yes, absolutely!

Seasonality: All seasons

Fee: Free
