The Hasenhorn Rodelbahn in Todtnau was hands-down one of the highlights of our entire Germany trip! This epic mountain coaster is tucked away in the beautiful Black Forest and is pure fun for families with kids ages 3 and up.
Here’s how it works: you start with about a 15-minute chairlift ride to the top (hello, mountain views!), and then it’s 3 km of winding, twisting track all the way down. The best part? You control your own speed—so you can take it slow to enjoy the scenery or let it fly for a thrill. It can go pretty fast, so younger riders might want to start off easy.
Good to know before you go:
Pricing: Adults €14.50, kids (ages 3–15) 12.50 for one ride, with discounts for multiple rides.
Safety: No handheld cameras or phones allowed while riding—so soak it all in and snap your photos before or after.
There’s also a kids trail at the top, which is perfect if you have little ones who want to run around before heading down.
We laughed the whole way down, and our kids still talk about it. If you’re in the Black Forest, this is an absolute must-do for families.
