One of two places to ski in Queenstown, Coronet Peak is the smaller of the two however it is still well worth a visit & sometimes quiter than the other.

The ski fields host runs for all levels of experience, so it doesn't matter if it's your first go or you have been skiing for years. You may even be interested in doing a night ski which is a REALLY cool experience & equally as fun.

Coronet Peak also boasts numerous food & drink vendors, ski & equipment hires & anything else you may possibly need. You can either drive up to the ski fields or take the bus located in the center of town outside the Queenstown Ski shop (this shop is also the location where you can by your ski pass).

The price depends on how many ski days you want, for example one ski day will cost you $94 (2023), you can however buy a pass for the whole season which will work out cheaper per day per ski.

Once you purchase a ski pass (even if it's for a day) you will get a picture taken of yourself which will be printed on your pass & checked on the bus & at Cornet Peak for security reasons & to make sure people aren't giving their passes to friends.

Before you go, we recommend heading to a ski hire shop if you don't have your own. This way you will get all your equipment you need & for a cheaper price then renting at Cornet Peak.
