For those of you wanting to do a road trip in New Zealand or to see the best bits then start in Queenstown & don't get pursuaded into flying into Auckland, even if it's a little cheaper, here's why.

A trip to New Zealand is incomplete without visiting Mount Cook National Park, so with only a few hours drive from Queenstown it makes sense for this to be a starting point for your journey. Also due to it's location you can quite easily drive or visit up the South Island to your favourite spots.

Milford Sound is another World Class & must visit spot in New Zealand, which is easily accessible from Queenstown, so not only are you visiting the country's most scenic & famous spots but your only a short drive away too!
