This scenic balcony is one of our favourite spots for sunset and is located near the start of the Vereda do Areeiro trail, so its relatively easy to get to. It offers stunning views of Madeira's Central Mountain Range and looks especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset, as there will often be golden cloud inversions and pastel pink skies.

Its a roughly a 5-10 minute walk from the start of the PR1 trail, so its super easy to get to for sunrise or sunset.
