Seixal Beach is a picturesque black sand beach on Madeira's north coast, with beautiful turqoise water and lush green mountains in the background. It's the perfect spot for photography, with the unique black sand creating a good focal point.

We'd reccomend visiting this spot at sunrise if you want to have it to yourselves! It starts to get busy mid morning with locals and tourists coming to set up camp on the beach.

It's also a lovely beach to swim at and relax at, although it can get very busy during the summer months.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking next to the beach, but it can fill up on a busy day.
