Even though it's very simply designed, we really loved this hotel on the Golden Circle.

It's located right in the heart of the area, near Laugarvatn, which puts you just minutes from the Fontana geothermal baths and gives you a front-row seat for the Northern Lights on clear winter nights! Plus, you're just a short drive from the main attractions on the Golden Circle, Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park.

The rooms are modern and comfortable. We had a self-check-in, which made things super easy, free parking outside, a bar of homemade chocolate was waiting for us in our room, and they also gave us a discount code to book local attractions. Overall, we really loved our stay here, and it was very affordable too!
