I came here on a date. It's very fun if you come with your partner or with a group of friends since the cave is pitch black and you will be given flash light to light the way. It's like an adventure.

Besides the archaeological significance, the cave boasts striking geological formations, including high-purity stalactites, worm-eaten ceilings, and impressive stalagmites. The cave is relatively easy to explore, with few steep inclines, making it suitable for all ages.

To visit Jomon Cave, you need to enter through Otaki Limestone Cave. While it’s a self-guided tour, you’re provided with a helmet and flashlight, adding an element of adventure as you explore the dark caverns. The pathways are well-maintained, so even families with small children can enjoy the experience. However, the ground inside the cave can be quite slippery, so it’s recommended to wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.
