Peru Itinerary: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley & Cusco (Mid-Range)

This itinerary is built around 10 days of exploration across Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco. Each day focuses on a specific area, so you’ll spend your mornings and afternoons discovering landmarks, markets, and culinary hotspots before returning to your hotel to relax in the evening. You can swap the days around if you like. For example, if you want to explore certain sites earlier or later, the itinerary is flexible to match your preferences.

Getting Around

You’ll need transportation to move between Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco. I recommend booking flights for the longer stretches (Lima → Cusco) and taxis or private drivers for city transfers. In the Sacred Valley and Cusco, local tours or guided drivers make navigating easier and more comfortable.
