Day 1 - "Geiko or Geisha?
Here's a good tip for Kanazawa - picture the city like ring. If you walk, or take the bus loop, you'll find that from the train station you can go in a full circle, with some absolute gems of places in the middle of that circle. It's honestly such an easy city to navigate. Hard to miss things here.
Today, you'll make a journey to a mini Kyoto - to the Geiko district. Note - Geiko are the geishas of Kanazawa. Take in a show if you like. Stopping at a traditional cafe for local snacks and top-notch coffee was a highlight.
Also, if you have kids and can book the Hyatt House...do it! It was a dream.
