This itinerary will focus on flying in and out of Grand Junction. Typically Grand Junction or Montrose will be your best best for flights. Telluride and Durango are also options, however might be more expensive. Salt Lake City, Denver, or Albuquerque are also options at a major hub, however you will lose critical vacation time driving to and from the airport.
For this itinerary, I've included all of my favorite places to shoot sunrise and sunset if you are visiting during PEAK week.
**PLEASE NOTE - CHASING FALLS COLORS CHANGES EVERY SINGLE YEAR BASED ON COLOR CHANGE, WEATHER, ETC.. THERE IS NO WAY TO ACURATELY DEPICT EXACTLY WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN. YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE TO VISIT A FEW TIMES TO KNOCK-OUT ALL OF YOUR BUCKETLIST SPOTS WITH PERFECT CONDITIONS.
