Large scenic waterfall to be viewed from above.

The majestic Otodoro Falls is one of Japan's most spectacular waterfalls, standing tall at 25 meters high and 5 meters wide. Legend has it that the Soga Brothers prayed here and were able to conduct their revengeplan due to the falls softening its roaring sound for them (Otodoro means "sound-stopping"). Located in Niikko, Tochigi Prefecture, the waterfall serves as a gateway to Nikko National Park with 48 other waterfalls. It's an important cultural site and is inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Visitors shouldn't miss this amazing natural spectacle while they're in the area and can explore the surrounding nature trails. Whether during winter where the falls are frozen solid or during fall when the foliage brightens its beauty, a trip to Otodoro Falls will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.
