If you’re looking for an amazing hike in Lake Tahoe, the Rubicon Trail is a must. This 7.5-mile out-and-back trail runs along the lake between D.L. Bliss State Park and Emerald Bay State Park, and the views are incredible. You can start from either the Vikingsholm Trail at Emerald Bay or from D.L. Bliss — both routes lead to gorgeous lakeside scenery.

This is the hiking trail, not to be confused with the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) route, which is also called the Rubicon Trail.
