Day 1: Arrival & Es Pujols

Your Formentera adventure starts with a flight into Ibiza and a 30-minute ferry crossing to La Savina. The moment you step off the boat, the pace of life shifts — turquoise water, white buildings, and the smell of salt and pine. Pick up your scooter at the port, grab your first tapas lunch overlooking the marina at Can Carlitos, and ride to your hotel on Migjorn beach. The afternoon is easy: a quick swim at Es Pujols beach, a stroll along the promenade for ice cream with the kids, and a sunset dinner with your feet in the sand at Sa Palmera. No rush, no agenda — just settling into island mode.

Day 2: Ses Illetes & The Northern Peninsula

Today is Formentera's showstopper day. After breakfast at the island's best brunch spot in Sant Francesc, you'll drive to the northern peninsula and spend the day on what many consider Europe's most beautiful beach. The sand is powder-white, the water is Caribbean-clear, and the peninsula is narrow enough to walk between two seas in under a minute. Lunch at Beso Beach with music and paella, then walk the full length of the peninsula past Ses Illetes to the wild dunes of Llevant, through the flamingo salt flats, and back. End the day with a stylish dinner at Bocasalina in Es Pujols. This is the day you'll understand why people fall in love with Formentera.

Day 3: Southern Coast & Sunset at Cap de Barbaria

The south side of Formentera is longer, wilder, and more diverse than the north. You'll start with breakfast in Sant Francesc, then spend the morning hopping between the beaches of the Migjorn coast — the long sandy stretch, the tiny hidden cove of Calo Des Mort wedged between rock walls, and the laid-back chiringuito scene at Blue Bar among the dunes. In the afternoon, you'll drive to the raw southern tip of the island — Cap de Barbaria — where the landscape turns barren and dramatic, ending in sheer cliffs over the open sea. Find the secret cave, watch the sunset from the edge of the world, then drive to a candlelit garden dinner at A Mi Manera. This is the adventurous day.

Day 4: La Mola, Es Caló & Cala Saona

Today you explore the eastern highlands and the western cove. Start in the charming fishing village of Es Caló de Sant Agustí — wooden boat shelters, crystal water, and the best seafood on the island. Then drive up the dramatic switchback road to the La Mola plateau: a centuries-old windmill, the famous hippie artisan market, and the cliff-edge lighthouse where Jules Verne set one of his novels. In the afternoon, descend to the hidden rocky cove of Cala en Baster for an adventure swim, then cross the island to the west coast where you check into the Cala Saona Hotel & Spa perched above the island's most beautiful sunset cove. Watch the sun drop into the sea from the infinity pool. This is the day of contrasts — rugged east, golden west.

Day 5: S'Espalmador, Last Swims & Departure

Your last day is a greatest-hits farewell. A morning boat excursion to the uninhabited island of S'Espalmador — pristine white sand, turquoise water, and natural mud baths with no one else around. Back on Formentera, a calm swim in the hidden lagoon of Estany des Peix, then a special farewell lunch at Es Molí de Sal overlooking Ses Illetes from the old salt mill. The afternoon is for browsing the bohemian market in Sant Ferran, a cold beer at Xiringuito Bartolo, and a last stroll through the village. Your final sunset meal at Cafe del Lago, overlooking the turquoise lagoon, closes the trip exactly how it opened — salt air, golden light, and the feeling that five days wasn't nearly enough.
