Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand, and it's where I've called home for the last seventeen years. I've spent years exploring across the region and have been fortunate to spend time on some of the most incredible hiking trails, wasted away days on white-sand beaches, and watched more west coast sunsets than I can count.
It's the perfect place to spend a couple of days easing your way into life in New Zealand before heading north to the Bay of Islands, or down south to start a larger NZ road trip.
