The best time to visit the Margaret River region is during spring and summer, from September to April. These months offer warm, sunny days and calm mornings that are perfect for exploring beaches, forests, and wineries. Winter can be wet and windy, which can make outdoor adventures less enjoyable.
We usually visit between December and April, when the weather is reliably good, the ocean is inviting, and the South West comes alive with vibrant scenery. Starting your days early is ideal, as mornings are calm and peaceful, giving you the best light for photography and the most tranquil experience before the coastal winds pick up in the afternoon.
