San Martin de los Andes is a beautiful small city in northern Patagonia. It's often visited by international tourists as a lunch break on a day trip along the 7 Lakes Route. It deserves more than that.
You'll see that this itinerary isn't jam packed with things to do. That's because you should take it easy. Don't just pull up to Playa Yuco, take a photo, and leave. Stay, walk the beaches, sit and appreciate where you are. Bring a book, a snack, a drink, and relax.
This itinerary will let you spend a minimum of 3 days in San Martin de los Andes. With the multiple excursions (listed in day 3 of this itinerary) you can easily extend this itinerary.
