The most popular spots in Iceland are popular for a reason. On this five day South Coast adventure you’ll be sure not to miss any of those but also see many hidden gems along the way. No need for a 4x4 vehicle (but during winter I always recommend a 4x4).
I also included some accommodation and food options along the way but feel free to adjust those according to your needs.
We all like to travel at different speeds so don’t worry if you can’t make it for all the stops. I put all my itineraries together as an inspiration with the idea that you don’t have to rush between spots but you still have reasonable time at each and every one. Also, during winter we have way less daylight so you might want to prioritise the spots you really like to see.
