Hellfire Bay is one of those beaches that just ticks all the boxes. The water is a crystal-clear turquoise, the sand is powder-soft, and it’s protected from some winds, making it perfect for a swim or just lounging around on the beach. I spent a couple of hours here, just soaking in the view and enjoying the peace and quiet. It’s one of those spots where you feel like you’ve got the beach all to yourself, even though there’s a few people around.
If you’re planning to camp, it’s part of the Cape Le Grand National Park, so you’ve got campgrounds nearby, but no pets allowed, as it’s a protected area. Still, it’s definitely worth the visit, whether you're here for the day or staying a little longer! It’s also ideal for a picnic, with plenty of shaded areas, and the snorkelling around the bay is a hidden gem. Definitely a spot to take your time and enjoy the beauty of the place.
