Directly behind the NEWBorn monument is the huge grounds and multi-purpose hall of the Youth and Sports Palace with its striking roof structure, visible from afar. It dates back to 1977 and is a typical example of Yugoslav architecture. The palace, which covers an area of over 8,100 m², has two huge halls with a capacity of 8,000 and 3,000 spectators respectively. In 1981, a sports complex and a shopping centre were added, the latter covering an area of 32,400 m². Most of the music, film and sports festivals, trade fairs, conferences and congresses are held here. Directly to the north is the Prishtina Stadium, the largest stadium in the country, which is mainly used for football matches and concerts. It has a capacity of 25,000 visitors.
The ODA Theatre is part of the complex. In addition to theatre performances, art exhibitions, music and film events are also held here, such as the Jazz Festival in November.The Youth and Sports Center in Kosovo is a vibrant hub designed to promote physical activity and community engagement among young people.
