Another hidden gem on Auckland's west coast, Anawhata beach is one of the more secluded and less busy of the west coast beaches.

To find this lookout point, park in the beach carpark on anawhata road and make your way along the private road down towards the beach. About 50m meters in you'll see a track off to the right heading up a hill. Follow this and you'll find this bench with a epic view of the coast.

I personally love this spot best for watching the sunset.
