Camp Cove is an absolute gem tucked away in Sydney, and I reckon it’s one of the most laid-back, local-feeling spots in the area (we used to come here all the time after uni). The vibe here is so relaxed, with families sprawled out on the sand. There’s a little kiosk near the beach that serves up delish coffee and acai bowls – I’m not kidding, the coffee alone is worth the trip!
TIP: if you park at the pin drop, you’ll score the best spot overlooking the cove, with a rolling grassy hill that’s perfect for lounging and soaking up the views. It’s also a top-notch spot for a sunset picnic – bring a blanket, some snacks, and some bevs.
The beach itself is stunning, with calm waters and an epic view of the city skyline in the distance. It’s a favourite for swimmers and snorkellers, thanks to the crystal-clear water. Oh, and it’s pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your pup along for a stroll!
