Flinders Bay is for sure my favourite spot for a swim in Augusta. The water is crystal clear, the bay is nice and protected from the wind, and it just has this really peaceful, local feel to it. Whether you’re keen for a dip or just want to lounge around, there’s a big grassy area where you can spread out and relax, plus plenty of space to park up and chill.

The jetty here is absolutely stunning—perfect for a little stroll or even a cheeky jump into the water. It’s also a super family-friendly spot, with kids splashing around in the shallows and locals hanging out on the lawn. If you’re road-tripping through Augusta, this is 100% the best place to pull up for a swim and soak up the relaxed coastal vibes.

Not sure if it’s officially pet-friendly, but I have seen a few dogs around, so it’s probably worth checking. Either way, it’s a dreamy little pocket of Augusta that you don’t want to miss!
