I really love coming here, especially when I take the coastal highway! It's so stunning and heaps of options for camping - it just has a really nice energy, lots of amenities etc.

Sandy Cape Recreation Park is the perfect place to take a breather if you’re heading towards or away from Perth – it’s seriously stunning and just a short drive north, making it the first spot to catch a glimpse of that super white sand along the coast! Even when it's raining, it's stunning! We especially love exploring the sand dunes and enjoying the sunset from the lookout!

The camping options are awesome, with fees being just $15–20 per night, which is very reasonable for such a gorgeous spot. You can just park up and enjoy the views. Heaps of space to spread out.

It’s a super chilled place to hang out, whether you’re keen to throw in a line and go fishing, soak up some rays on the beach, or just enjoy the beautiful lookouts.

If you’ve got a pup in tow, it’s pet-friendly, so they can enjoy the sand and sea with you!
